DCI Systems Group, formerly known as Design Controls Inc., was formed in 1984 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and celebrated its 34th anniversary in 2018.  Today DCI Systems Group is comprised of four operating units and two locations to serve the South Florida HVAC and controls community.

DCI is a member of the distinguished team of Johnson Controls Authorized Building Control Specialists (ABCSs) who are contracted with Johnson Controls due to their proven technical ability, unique strength, and excellent reputation for consistently satisfying their customers with high quality systems.  

 

DCI is 1 of 3 ABCSs in the country - authorized to provide the world-class Metasys brand, and won the Top Performance Award for Johnson Metasys System in 2016.  Over thirty-three years later, DCI Systems Group continues to serve the South Florida market providing HVAC Solutions as well as installing and servicing temperature control systems and variable frequency drives.

In addition to our controls division, DCI Systems was named Service Pro of the year for Danfoss variable frequency drives in 2010.

We have been recognized by Data Aire and Magic Aire as top performers for the South Florida Market.

Our Wholesale division is proud to be one of the premier independent suppliers of control devices for multiple manufacturers.

DCI is also a licensed Certified Mechanical and General Contractor capable of HVAC Mechanical retrofit and renovation projects.
